Ohad
SINGER. ACTOR. COMPOSER. EDUCATOR.
With a sound that lives on the intersection of Pop, RnB and Musical Theatre, Ohad Ashkenazi combines powerhouse vocal stylings with witty, honest storytelling and unapologetic queerness. The result is a unique catalog that screams a message of self-love, sexual freedom, and emotional articulation:
Own who you are. Know your value. Add tax.
Israeli-born and Hong Kong-raised, Ohad’s musical education is eclectic and is reflected in his body of work. He began singing professionally in restaurants and hotel bars and after winning the Hong Kong "Yrock Pop" singing competition at 17 (2013), He was invited to sing in various music festivals (Picnic In The Park, Clockenflap), was a recurring guest on RTHK Radio 1 & 3, was featured as a writer and soloist on the album Music Kreation II (sold in Hong Kong and Taiwan), and attained several musical theatre credits.
In Israel, Ohad has had the opportunity to share the stage with, and study under, music legends Ohad Hitman, Yehoram Gaon, and Shlomit Aharon. He made waves with his debut English EP Show Me (2021) and was invited to headline Pride events all over the country with his songs - both in Hebrew and English.
